We stumbled upon this adorable restaurant this year, with a scrumptious menu ranging from summer salads to bread rolls, tacos and vanilla cheesecake. It's no surprise that some big names have been known to frequent this place, but that doesn't take away from its cozy atmosphere. It's named after Momus, the "mocking god" from Greek mythology. If you're ever in Kaş, I highly recommend you give it a try!
Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, but for me it was just mediocre. Glutton Bowl or Momus Bowl is basically just a salad; definitely not the main course. It's like they want to fill you up with peanuts, eggs, and parmesan, so they add a bunch of other stuff to the dish. In my opinion, the price doesn't match the quality, and the atmosphere is alright.
When we first visited Oburus Momus years ago, we could see the enthusiasm of the owners in their eyes and smiles, and that same enthusiasm and cheerful attitude still remains today. If you're in Kaş, don't even think twice about where to eat - head straight to Oburus Momus for some delicious, wholesome food.
Kaş is known for this place, and I can see why. I had to come back two days later to try more of their delicious dishes. I don't need to say much, this place speaks for itself.
How sweet they are and how they always have a smile on their faces! I'm not sure if it's because they love their job or because they're always laughing, but either way, they make a difference. I go every year and the experience is always the same - the same deliciousness, the same cuteness, and prices that are not too high.
